Padlet is a digital bulletin board that allows users to post notes on a virtual wall. It allows individuals and groups to post comments, questions, and resources in one place that is accessible to everyone. You can share these virtual posts with students in class or use them as an extended assignment.

Critique:

Padlet is a user-friendly tool with a free version for online and offline classrooms and work. It can create boards, documents, and webpages. Padlet is straightforward to set up and makes creating and sharing discussion boards simple. You can share it via a link or QR code or upload it as a file. There are many ways you can post a response on the board, such as writing a comment, uploading an image, uploading a video, or pasting a link. This tool is easily accessible. 

The free version of Padlet has limitations. Each account can only have three walls or boards. Once you've used up all three, they recommend upgrading to prevent the inability to create additional content. Additionally, the upload limit for videos is 25 MB.

Fly FlamingText

 

FlamingText is a free online logo design tool that allows you to create logos in just minutes. It is accessible through your browser, meaning there is no need for downloads or installations. You can use the logos you design on your website, in your email signature, or anywhere else you choose. This tool is user-friendly and straightforward.

Critique:

FlamingText is an easy-to-use tool for creating and designing logos. It simplifies the logo-making process and allows for quick and creative designs. The platform appears legitimate and safe to use. By becoming a member, you gain access to additional designs and features that can help your logo stand out. 

However, I experienced issues with the animation feature while creating logos. Despite multiple attempts to access the animation button, it continuously buffered, preventing me from using that feature. This was the only negative experience I encountered while exploring the site. Despite this setback, I would recommend this tool to anyone with little or no experience in logo design.
